Garlic Tahini Dip & Chilli Green Beans
Time: 15min
Ingredients
1 Packet Green Beans (200g)
Olive Oil
1tsp Chilli Flakes
150g/ ½ cup Plain Yoghurt
80g/ ⅓ cup Tahini
1 large clove of Garlic (or 2 small)
Salt & Pepper
Method
Add the yoghurt, tahini, and garlic (crushed), ½ tsp salt to a bowl, and mix until well combined then set aside
Trim the ends of the green beans off and set aside
Heat up a frying pan on medium heat, then add about 5tbsp olive oil and let it heat up for about 30 seconds
Add in the green beans, a pinch of salt & pepper and the chilli flakes and sauté
Toss the beans around every minute or so, until they’re sizzling and a brighter green colour
They’re ready when they’ve softened a little, taken on a deeper colour & when the oil has turned a deep orange, at this point take off the heat
Spread the tahini & garlic dip onto a serving plate, then top with the green beans, and drizzle on the remaining oil (which has become a chilli oil!)
Serve!
