Quick Pickled Onions (3 Ways)

Pickled Red Onions
2 medium Red Onions
1 tsp Sea Salt
4 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar/ Lemon Juice
Pickled Onions with Nigella Seeds
2 medium White Onions
1 tsp Sea Salt
4 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
½ tsp Nigella Seeds
Sesame Pickled Leeks
1 Large Leek/ Large Bunch Spring Onions
1 tsp Sea Salt
4 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Honey
Method
Thinly slice your onions and place in a bowl
Add the remaining ingredients
Massage with your hands for about 1minute until they start to soften
Leave for 10 mins to allow to soften and pickle further is using straight away, or place in an airtight container and refrigerate (they’ll last for 1-2 weeks refrigerated)
